There is also transition, uncertainty and challenge; for new and experienced parents alike. All growing families need support during the first weeks and months of bringing a new baby home. While most of us have heard that it takes a village to raise a child, finding that village can sometimes be a challenge. A doula can be your resource for education, advocacy, encouragement and unwavering, non-judgmental support to guide you through the ever changing journey of new parenthood.

As a full spectrum doula, Shauna works with families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum and lactation. Beyond Birth offers both birth & postpartum doula support services as well as childbirth education, newborn care classes, parent coaching, lactation support, postpartum meal prep and other services designed to help parents feel confident and empowered in their choices.
