As a birth doula, Shauna’s goal is to support and empower your positive labor & birthing experience. While that looks different for each family; it often includes prenatal planning, comfort & support measures and advocacy in the birthing space.  

1 (60 minute) virtual intake session

1 (90 minute) birthing prep session 

Weekly phone/text support at 36 weeks

On call support at 37 weeks

Lactation/breastfeeding support 

1 Postpartum visit at home (2 hour max)

Text/email/phone support through the 4th Trimester

Birth doulas have a definite role in cesarean births and can provide much needed reassurance and support during and after surgery. A planned cesarean birth brings additional challenges and healing time and a support team is so important in the immediate recovery period.  

1 (60 minute) virtual intake session
